Reservations will be released at 12:00pm (noon) instead of midnight 180 days from the first day of camping. This is for camping, day use and community center reservations.

Guests will be responsible for credit card processing fees associated with their reservation, a County reservation fee and a vendor processing fee from the reservation management system provider. These fees are non-refundable and are required.

camping Policy Changes

Day Use and Community Centers

Beginning July 1, 2026

Reservation changes to camping will no longer be allowed. If you wish to change anything about your reservation, including but not limited to your length of stay, dates of stay or campsite, you will be required to cancel and rebook your reservation. A $20 cancellation fee will apply to any cancelled reservations.

Beginning December 1, 2026

Reservations for the Rincon Parkway will now be available 180 days in advance instead of the previous 90-day policy.

Due to high demand at beach parks, stay limits for Faria, Hobson, and Rincon have been reduced to 7 consecutive days during Peak Season; March 1 – October 31.

Guests visiting beach parks may fulfill their 7-day peak-season and 14-day off peak-season stay across any combination of Faria, Hobson or Rincon campgrounds.

Cumulative stay limits of 30 days per park in peak season and 30 days in off peak season still apply. Maximum cumulative length of all single stays in the County-operated park system is sixty (60) peak-season days and sixty (60) off-season days.

Beginning December 1, 2026

Day Use and Community Center reservations will be available for self-service reservation online beginning on December 1. Reservations can be made up to 180 days prior to your use date.

Any Community Center reservation requesting an alcohol permit will be required to have Security. For reservations beginning December 1, Security Services will be contracted through the County and no longer available through an external provider.

Distinguished veteran program

Beginning December 1, 2026

For reservations beginning December 1, members of the Distinguished Veteran (DV) program will be able to make their reservations online. Approved DVs will be provided a DV Membership linked to their account that will automatically waive the camp site fee for approved participants. If you are currently approved DV, your membership has already been established in the system and is ready to use. For new DV Memberships, please submit your request through the Memberships link.
